Cbank prolongs limits on cash currency withdrawal till March 9

MOSCOW, Aug 1 (PRIME) -- The Russian central bank has prolonged the limits on withdrawal of cash U.S. dollars and euros for six months until March 9, 2023 because of the Western sanctions, the regulator said in a statement on Monday.

Russians still can withdraw from their deposits or foreign currency accounts up to U.S. $10,000 or 10,000 euros in cash if the money was placed to such accounts before March 9, 2022. The rest can be withdrawn in rubles at a current exchange rate.
